ArtSprings Studio is the art space of teaching artist Barbara Thomas. Barbara has been making art in the east end of Long Island for over forty years. Barbara has been an active teacher of art making at The Parrish Art Museum, Water Mill, NY and The Farnsworth Museum, Rockland, ME.

A PLEA FOR THE ANIMALS | A group exhibition based on the book A Plea for the Animals: The Moral, Philosophical and Evolutionary Imperative to Treat All Beings with Compassion, by Buddhist philosopher Matthieu Ricard.
LANDSCAPE INTO ABSTRACTION | This exhibition established a time line of Barbara’s long history as a representational landscape artist in the East End, and her gradual shift into the more abstracted landscape vision of her current work.
